When I was making my presidential campaign ad, I took a lot out of the example ads. I noticed that the font matches the person that who the ad was representing. There was a nice flow in the picture. I wanted to find a good font to make Patrick that will be written on the ad match the picture of Patrick. Luckily, I found a good stary font that matches Patrick on Dafont.com. Another tip I took from the ads are the colors. I used red, white, and blue because Patrick was going to be running for the president of the United States so I guess I should follow the crowd of using the American colors so that way people will want to vote for him more because he has pride in America.
The tools I used for my image was Photoshop CS3. I used masking to make patrick glow on two of my transformation images. I created my background of red for logos 3 and 4 by using different layers on photoshop. I used the red as the lowest layer so everything else will show up. For logo two, I made the flag a little more transparent by turning the opacity down. That way, I can show that Patrick is not that caring of America. He will sink it into the sea.
On my three different ads, I started by chaning the original into the logo named logo2. I added a new background and changed the star colors so it's more visable. I wanted one that has a metaphoric message saying the Patrick is a bad president. Then I made the original turn into a red background that way I can make him glow and make him seem like an angel and will be a great president. Lastly, I just changed the logo3 by adding spongebob pointing to Patrick so It will be more appealing and it will seem like Spongebob approves of Patrick running for President. Out of all of the three images, I like the one named logo4 the best because it presuades me the most to vote for Patrick and it also looks the most clean. I would choose logo4 as my final because it is the most clean and persuasive. I like the simpleness of logo1. Then on logo2 I was just experimenting with things so it was just for play. For logo3 I like the color and cleaniness of the logo. Lastly, logo4 made me feel satisfied because it was a great logo and I liked the flow.
